& corrections.

Help make the history of Magnet more complete, accurate and personal by sharing what your family knows.

A shared record

Help complete Magnet’s story.

Much of Magnet’s history survives in family memory: names remembered, photographs kept in albums, stories passed down, and small details that may not appear in official records. Every contribution is valuable in building a fuller picture of the community.

The research currently includes a growing database of around 700 people connected with Magnet, drawn from historic newspapers, public records, family research and other sources. It is a working resource and continues to be checked, improved and expanded.
